Welcome Week is a combination of high energy student leaders and eager first year students, activities and events beginning in the early hours of the morning and commencing after the sun has set, cheers, faculty pride and the foundation of life-long friendships.
As Commerce Welcome Week Coordinators, we are the individuals who have started planning for this epic week since March for the Faculty of Commerce. From the swag that goes into the bags of first years, the inflatables and games used during Faculty Day, the venue and activities for Faculty Night and the crazy, lovable, Greensuits seen cheering and dancing were hand-picked by us.
Our purpose as coordinators and as representatives during Welcome Week is to make the transition of first years, or how we like to see it; the rulers of tomorrow, into the best, most highly qualified, and brightest faculty on the McMaster campus, the most memorable, enjoyable, effective and respectful way possible.
