President

4th Year Commerce

Area of Focus: Finance

Amanda’s goals for this year can be summarized in the three E’s: Engage, Educate, and Excite. As the president of the DCS, it is an exciting time to lead and inspire others to join us on this transformative journey. Recognizing the crucial importance of extracurricular activities in shaping the overall student experience, her goal is to actively educate and engage every student, enabling them to take away valuable skills and a fulfilling experience.⁠

Zachary Sabga

Chief Operating Officer

5th Year Commerce

Area of Focus: Accounting

Zachary is a 5th year honours commerce student with a wealth of experience in corporate environments, extracurriculars, and academic success. He hopes to help foster a DCS that not only prioritizes the success of all the students it involves but creates an environment where students can go about achieving their success while having fun and enjoying every step of the journey.

Cameron Ecclestone

Chief Financial Officer

3rd Year IBH

Area of Focus: Finance

Cameron looks forward to spearheading financial analysis through budgeting, reporting, and compliance for the DCS and all clubs and committees under its purview. Cameron wants to apply his learning and knowledge to support clubs and committees in achieving their goals and enhancing the undergraduate experience for commerce and IBH students.

Nijhum Saha

Vice President of Academic Affairs

3rd Year Commerce

Nijhum hopes to revamp the academic experience by providing better access to academic resources, more wellness & de-stressor events, and increasing equitable access to extracurricular opportunities for students. Some fun facts about her include: she enjoys crafts like sewing, jewelry making, & embroidery, she love cooking, and her favourite movie genre is horror/thriller!

Jaime Sharp

Vice President of Marketing

3rd Year IBH

Area of Focus: Marketing

Jaime is a dedicated individual with a strong vision for the DCS community. Her primary goal is to cultivate a culture of creativity and collaboration among students, encouraging them to think outside the box and make a positive impact. Fueled by a passion for marketing excellence, she strives to maintain a consistent brand image for DCS. Jaime aims to elevate the marketing efforts and overall experience within the DCS.

Vice President of Internal Affairs

5th Year Commerce

Rawan envisions a more integrated DCS, fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth, and making opportunity and enrichment accessible to all students. In her current role, she aspires to create a functional forum for club leadership, the DCS, and student leaders to collaborate on pressing issues, revitalize the year-representative and year-council system for more effective representation, and engage students in junior roles, cultivating a vibrant and inclusive DCS community. She looks forward to embarking on a journey of growth, empowerment, and transformation, propelling all DeGroote students toward a brighter future.

Graydon Szego

Vice President of External Relations

3rd Year Commerce

Graydon is enthusiastic about creating opportunities for students to learn, network, and grow by strengthening existing partnerships and developing new ones. He is excited to build a seamless corporate partnership program, aiming to create synergies within the DeGroote community through the value-added integration of companies into club and committee events. In his spare time, Graydon enjoys hockey (being a big Leafs fan), hiking, and reading.

Wonu adelusi

Vice President of Human Resources

2nd Year IBH

Wonu is a second-year IBH student who is genuinely excited about bringing efficiency and equity to the DCS’ recruitment process this year. She is also determined to create more opportunities for the student body to learn about the ins-and-outs of resumes, interviews, and gaining valuable experience for the corporate world. Wonu is dedicated to making a positive impact and contributing to the growth and development of her fellow students in the DeGroote community.

Keionna Cousins

Vice President of Advocacy

2nd Year Commerce

Keionna is a 2nd year Honours Commerce Student. She is passionate about women’s Health issues and youth mentorship. Keionna plans to promote a more inclusive DeGroote by breaking down the barriers Equity-Seeking Groups (ESGs) face while pursuing post-secondary education.
